Flesh of the Fallen is a collaborative piece that explores death in a time of war. The audio represents a few names from the thousands of civilians that died in the Iraq war initiated by the George W. Bush administration. The names float out and merge with each other, creating harmonies that become aerial waves floating into our bodies. The images of people falling and piling attempt to express the absurdity of the waste of human life in a time when life and love seem so necessary to save us from ultimate vacuity and alienation.
